Where does your training program hit... the Heart, the Head, or the Hand?
For many organizations, a significant budget is allocated to awareness programs and training. However, sometimes you might have noticed that of these training initiatives fail to achieve the desired results. Why does this happen? It's due to the lack of impact that training could make.
To make training effective, it should either touch the heart or the head, or at least the hands. In other words, it should directly connect with a person's emotions and intelligence or provide a thought-provoking experience or offer a hands-on learning opportunity.
Among these, touching the heart is more effective because it directly influences the mindset.
Each training session should be crafted in such a way that it can make an impact on the attendees' mindset. The best way to change a person is to change their mindset. That will automatically change the attitude and the behavior. Once personal transformations become easier, the organization will automatically undergo desired positive changes.
