Are you ready for big rewards ?

Updated: Nov 11, 2023

Have you ever found yourself questioning why some individuals can effectively strategize and realize ambitious projects, while you, despite embracing a growth mindset, encounter difficulties in doing so? In certain coaching sessions, upon deeper analysis, it often becomes apparent that the client's mindset may not be adequately prepared to pursue substantial rewards.

Certainly, having a growth mindset doesn't always mean that an individual is automatically ready to accommodate huge rewards.

Here are some examples where someone might have a growth mindset but is not necessarily prepared for substantial rewards:

Fear of Success: Some people with a growth mindset may fear the responsibilities and expectations that come with substantial rewards. They might believe in their ability to learn and grow, but they're hesitant about the spotlight or added pressure that success can bring, which can prevent them from fully embracing significant rewards.

Self-Doubt: Even with a growth mindset, individuals may still doubt their worthiness of substantial rewards. They might feel like they haven't earned or don't deserve such rewards, leading to self-sabotage or reluctance when offered significant opportunities.

Comfort Zone: People with a growth mindset may be comfortable with gradual progress and small wins. They might prefer to stay within their comfort zone and avoid the uncertainty or changes that come with substantial rewards, even if they have the potential to achieve them.

Lack of Goal Alignment: Sometimes, individuals with a growth mindset may have goals that don't align with seeking substantial rewards. They might prioritize personal development, learning, or making a positive impact over monetary or material gains, which could lead to them not actively pursuing or accommodating significant rewards.

Value of Simplicity: Some people appreciate a simple and modest lifestyle, and their growth mindset may drive them to improve themselves without necessarily seeking or accommodating substantial rewards. They find fulfillment in the journey and self-improvement rather than in accumulating wealth or recognition.

Focus on Intrinsic Motivation: Individuals with a growth mindset may be more driven by intrinsic motivations such as passion, purpose, or personal fulfillment. They may not place a high priority on external rewards and may not be as prepared to accommodate them in their pursuit of growth and success.

It's important to remember that having a growth mindset is not synonymous with pursuing material success at any cost. People with a growth mindset can have a variety of priorities and motivations, and their willingness to accommodate substantial rewards may vary based on their individual values and goals. if you want to get big rewards in life, train your mind to accommodate that.
